Dominique Daniels

May 22, 1977 ~ April 14, 2017 (age 39) 39 Years Old

Dominique Danielle Daniels was born on May 22, 1977, to Clinton and Margaret Daniels, who were shining examples of loving,committed and supportive parents. For most of his early life, he was a resident of Enterprise, Alabama, attending schools there beforetransferring and graduating from Elba High School in 1995. He also attended Troy University, majoring in psychology.

On January 3, 2005, Dominique married the love of his life, Jamelle Antonette (Siler). They were the proud parents of three adoring sons: Nihle, Isaiah and Sean Daniels; and one grandson, Jax Truitt Daniels.

Dominique joined Shady Grove African American Episcopal Church as a child. He professed Christ at an early age; but during his adult life, he made a strong commitment to God and accepted the call to theministry.  Dominique became an ordained minister, and his latterservice was as an elder at Harris Temple Church of God in Christ in Elba, Alabama, under the leadership of Superintendent W. K. Ellison. Dominique was known for giving spiritual counsel and support to those who needed it. He had a way of communicating the Word of God in a manner that was both practical and impactful.

Dominque had a passion for sports and for helping to develop young athletes. He served as a coach for more than twenty years, making a difference in the lives of hundreds of players. His last position was as the basketball, football and baseball coach at Zion Chapel High School in Jack, Alabama.

In addition to his wife, sons and parents, Dominique leaves to cherish his memories, his great-grandmother, Annie Williams; grandmothers, Rushia Culver and Mary Frances Daniels; three aunts, Helen Culver, Dorothy (Paul) Phillips and Patricia (David) Carpenter; four uncles: Vernon Culver, Johnny Otis Daniels, Frankie Daniels and Thedro (Renee) Daniels; his mother-in-law, Deborah Siler; three special   cousins: Michael Phillips, Minyon Levens and Michelle Stanton;     and  a host of loving relatives and friends.
