Carrie Mae Roberts was born September 27, 1961 in Daleville, Alabama to the late Willie and Minnie McCoy.  She went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2017.

           Early in life, Carrie accepted Christ and joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She was joined in Holy Matrimony in 1981 to Mr. S.R. Roberts Jr.  This union was blessed with two sons, Seqric R. Roberts and Stephan R. Roberts; one daughter, Kanisha A. Roberts, all of Ozark, Alabama; two stepsons, S.R. Roberts III of Tampa, Florida and Anton V. Roberts of California.

She was a devoted mother and wife.  She loved life, family and her children.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of thirty-six years, S.R. Roberts Jr of Ozark, Alabama; two brothers, Henry L. (Linda) McCoy of Level Plains, Alabama and Willie R. (Sharon) McCoy of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two brothers preceded her in death; three sisters, Jeanette McCoy of Level Plains, Alabama, Minnie B. Burton of Woodbridge, Virginia and Teresa A. McCoy of Manassas Park, Virginia; one sister preceded her in death; and a host of relatives and friends.
