Winnie Ann James

Winnie Ann Ware James was born in 1942 on November 30th to the late Jay and Queen Esther Ware. 
She attended Mulberry Heights School District. 
Winnie worked many years as a cook at Holley’s Restaurant and the Ranch House. She accepted Jesus into her life and was a faithful member of the Elba Church of Christ. She was loved and will be dearly missed. In life, she was loving, caring, and giving. Her family will miss her joyous sense of humor.

In her later years, Winnie’s health began to decline. Her strength and courage shined throughout her life, notably through her 15 years of dialysis. 
Winnie was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Queen Ester Ware, as well as her brothers, Kenny (Emma Nell) Ware, Bobby (Lucene) Ware, Ed (Betty Jo) Ware, John (Carrie) Ware, Laymon Ware, Donnie Ware, her sister, Linda Carol Ware, and her two sons Lorenzo “Lomax” Ware and Vincent Edward Ware, great-grand daughter Avalynn James. 

She leaves to celebrate her life: Brothers: Randy (Simone) Ware, Germany. Billy Ware, Elba, Al. Daughters: Paula Ware, Elba, Al. Bridgett (Effriam) Tyson, Elba, Al. Louise James, Enterprise, Al. Three special grandsons: Demetrius Marquez (Samantha) Tyson, Baltimore, MD. Dimetrio Martinez (Ashley) Tyson, Enterprise, AL. Tony James of Enterprise, AL. Three great-grandchildren: Skyler, Dominic, and Da’Kari Tyson. Three bonus daughters: Renee (Harry Sr.) Griffin, Carol Ware (Juan) Juarez, and Danae Ware. 
Three bonus sons: Terry Ware, Bryant Ware, and Lamar Ware.  A host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends will also carry on her memory.
