Willie R. Council

King of Kings, the funniest angel of them all was called home to be with the Lord January 16, 2021. Willie Ray Council was born to Betty Jean Scott (deceased) and Henry Lee Council (deceased) on February 24, 1958. Everyone loved Willie “Ray” Council. He was known to put a smile on your face no matter the circumstance. Ray was loving, caring, loyal, funny and  as real a they come. Ray played the guitar he loved music, and enjoyed cooking a home cooked meal and letting you know that your food did NOT compare to his. Ray also loved to play spades, dance and just have a good ole time with family and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his brother: Howard Council and sisters: Betty Lois Council, Brenda Fay Gaines, and Sharion Council. Ray was survived by his daughter: Jessica Council; son: Carlous Borders; brother: Alfred Council. Along with grandchildren: Otis Jr. Carlous Jr. , Dezmend, Dior, and Brennan; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who loved him dearly.
