Willie C. Brooks was born on December 30, 1940 in Coffee County to the late Facie Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Thomas. He attended Coppinville High School. Most of his life he worked as carpenter in Fort Rucker, AL. Later in life he worked at Walmart where he was the most popular employee and never met a stranger. Willie enjoyed going to church, walking, and helping his neighbors when he could, he was always there to help his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his: son: Kenneth Fitzgerald Brooks; daughter: Bonita Devon Brooks – Thompson (Omar) ; son: Christopher Paul Brooks; daughter: Courtney Laster (Bobby) ; son: Kenneth Brooks; son: Kevin Brooks Sr (Kinberly) .; siblings: Sarah Cole, Louise Likely Stallworth (Horace), and Darold Brooks (deceased); grandchildren: Ketan Dionte Brooks, DeAndre Lavon Gentris-Brooks, Kathleen Threat, Lauryn Juanita Smith, Allan Mckinzie, Jah'mil Harriett, and Kevin Jeremiah Ayuyu Brooks Jr. and host of nieces, nephews, and friends that loved him.
