William Felton was born to John and Lena Felton on May 5, 1937, in Machingpongo, Virgina.
He enlisted in the U.S. Marines and later moved to New York City. He served 30 years as a Conductor with the NYC Transit Authority. After retiring from NYC Transit, he moved back to his home state of Virginia and united with Union Baptist church in Eastville Virginia. He later moved to Alabama with his wife, Robbie Lee Felton, to Elba Alabama. He then reunited with Shady Grove A.M.E. Church where he was a faithful member and served as deacon of the church until his departure. He was preceded by his parents, (2) sisters (1) brother, and (1) daughter, Stacey G. Felton.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife, Robbie L. Felton (Elba, AL), (2) daughters, Cheryl V. Felton (Eustis, FL) and Joy L. Young, (Corona, NY). (3) three grandchildren, Carnel W. Bright (Eustis, FL), Nicole M. Bright (Eustis, FL), and Faith L. Ottley (Corona, NY). (2) Great grandchildren Jacquez M. Potts (Eustis, FL) and Zyheir A. Potts (Eustis, FL), plus a host of nieces and 1 nephew.
