Vickie Kirkland

Vickie Marie Kirkland, daughter of the late Roy C. Kirkland & Onie M. Kirkland Davis was born on February 14, 1955 in Syracuse, NY. She was preceded in death by her sisters Marie Johnson & Patricia Stephenson. She was also preceded in death by one brother Roy Doug Drake. Step father James Davis. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Dothan, AL.

Vickie lived most of her life in Syracuse, NY She later moved down south to Philadelphia, MS. and Brundidge, Al. She accepted Christ at an early age and later joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
 
Vickie served in the U.S. Army. She loved her family and was always surrounded by them. She was always willing to give advice to make others lives a little bit easier.

She leaves to cherish her memory: mother: Onie Kirkland Davis of Brundidge, AL. three brothers: Anthony Kirkland of Philadelphia, MS. Rory Kirkland and Rodney McLaurin of Syracuse, NY, four sisters: Ella M. Jackson, Denice Nicey (Garfield) McLeod, Tina Hanford, Latasha Nikki Hanford, all of Syracuse, NY,  step sister: Mary Jenkins Felder of Montgomery, AL, her god children: twins Lezani and Lezaniya Haywood, first generation nephews/nieces: William Jr., Shawn Gunn, Tashonda Kirkland, Anthony Jr. Cashashay, Sherea Roberts, Dawayne Kirkland Jr. Qunatrell, Travel, Shataya, Duke, Antonio   A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A very special friend: Rosemary Sledge.
