Verlin L. Whitfield

Verlin Louise Whitfield 

Age 78, of Elba, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19,2025 at her home. 

She was born on September 13, 1947 in Wimbledon, North Carolina to the late Zomalar Adell Daniels and Johnny Samuel Daniels. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Adam Whitfield. 

She is survived by 9 children: Brenda Robertson(Late Nicholas) , Mark Whitfield (Tabitha), Jesse Whitfield Jr. (Shelia), Renethia Singletary (Anthony), Timothy Whitfield (Judith), Nicholas Whitfield (Angel), Jacqueline Thomas, April Sistrunk (Jerry), Velma Whitfield (John), 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Elba First Assembly of God on September 27th at 2:00pm. Coleman Funeral Home is serving the family. Supt. LoEarl Flowers will be officiating.
