Tim was born and raised in Samson, AL on June 23, 1967, to Albert and Katie Mae Lane Sr. He attended school in Samson, AL, and he was on the basketball team throughout high school. After graduation, he attended Job Corp where he studied to become a firefighter. Later he found his passion and obtain his CDL. Tim drove trucks for 20-plus years and worked for several transportation companies. Tim was a very passionate, outspoken person who loved his family dearly. He loved cooking, grilling, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son who you could always count on. Tim was the life of the party. Once you heard him laugh you would laugh also. He was a person who made everyone feel comfortable no matter who they were. Tim was a big University of Alabama fan! Football season was his favorite time of year, from Friday night lights to Alabama football on Saturday and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Tim was proceeded in death by his grandmothers Bertha Lane and Annie Brundidge; his grandfathers Riley Lane and Neal Smith; his father Albert Lane Sr.; his sister Darlean Lane; and his nephew Erskine Clay. Tim is survived by his mother Katie Lane; his son Jaylen Lane; his life partner Sharon Ware; two daughters La’Shonda (Desmond) Cox and Shea Ware; two granddaughters Jada Cox and Leona Bradley; his siblings; sisters: Cynthia Lane (Perman) of Greenwood, FL, Vickey Lane of Atlanta, GA, and Tammy Lane of Opp, AL; brothers: Albert Lane Jr. of Midland City, AL, Herbert (Veronica) Lane of Samson, AL, Jeffery Lane of Enterprise, AL, Dennis (Lisa) Lane of Tallahassee, FL, and Sherman (Nichauka) Lane of Level Planes, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved and cherished him dearly.
