Mr. Stanley George Maddox was born December 31, 1955 in Dale County to the late Willie and Bama Maddox and he preceded in death by his wife Brenda Maddox, grand son Braylon Maddox, brothers: Willie L. Maddox, Alvin Maddox, Sturd Maddox, Willie (Baba) Maddox.
 On January 26, 2026 I Stanley took my last breath. I’m leav ing this old world to go where the Lord has for me to go. I have lived my life to its fullest now you can only remember the things of my past. So to the ones that I have left behind And God take it away, with things are gloomy please turn to the Lord for guidance, I know what the Lord has done for me to all my caretakers. I love you all special thanks to the staff of Gentiva hospice. 
He was a member of Antioch missionary Baptist Church and he leaves to cherish his memories to two sons Michael Palm er Maddox, Dothan Alabama, and Patrick (Elise) Maddox Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren Clara Palmer, Sierra Palmer, Hannah Williams, Jada Shewts, Adora Edwards, Kameron Mitchell, Kadyn Palmer, two sisters Jackie (Bobby) Stewart Midland City Dawn (William) Friar St. Louis, Missouri, God daughter Latoya Miles and two special people Sherry Mckenzie of Enterprise Alabama, Brenda Dozier Mobile, Alabama, and his dear friend Mavis, his cat, a host of nieces and nephews and friends as well as Mayor Bill Pruitt.
