Sankora Clarissa Rogers was born October 12, 1980 to the late Sherrie Jean McBride Rogers and Clarence Ball. She departed this life on Friday March 18, 2022 at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital, Montgomery, AL. Sankora was a 1999 graduate of Opp High School, she was a color guard for the Marching Black and Gold, afterwards she attended Mac Arthur State Tech College. She received her certification as a C N A. Sankora was employed at Grocery Outlet, Opp, AL for many years where she was the head cashier. She made MANY friends and touched so many lives. Sankora was preceded in death by her mother, nephew: Donta Rogers; Aunt: Merlene Musgrove and maternal grandfather: James Paul “Dump” Musgrove Sr., paternal grandparents: Frank and Gracie Ball, uncles: Lawrence, Joseph, James, Robert, and Johnny Ball. Sankora joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Elba, AL at an early age and was a faithful member until her illness.Sankora leaves to cherish two loving children: Promise Lindsey and Peyton Campbell Opp, AL. Her loving husband: Leonard Campbell Opp, AL,; dad: Clarence (Annie) Ball Opp, AL; two stepsons: Jermiah and Duquante (Campbell), California, four sisters: Gloria Musgrove and Ereka (Jermone) Hill, and Alexis Rogers Opp, AL and Carolyn Rogers Elba, AL, five brothers: Spences and Demetruis Musgrove, Elba, AL, Nicholas Hines Opp, AL, Conosha and Herbert Ball Atlanta, GA; Stepbrothers: Fred Tillis, Opp, AL, Antwuan and Terrell Foster, Brantlley, AL, stepfather: Anthony Foster, Brantley, AL and a loving grandmother: Alice Musgrove.
