Sabrina Thomas

Sabrina Lavette Thomas was born in Opp, AL on February 9, 1973 to Vernetter  (Alfred) Puris and Robert Mitchell. 

She went home peacefully at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL on September 30, 2024 at the age of 51.

Sabrina graduated from Elba High School in 1991. She confessed Christ at an early age and attended the New Hope Valley Baptist Church in Luverne, AL.

She leaves behind to cherish all of her memories to three daughters: Shabria Thomas, Shakiva Thomas, Shamya Thomas of Elba, AL; two special grandkids: Aaden and Alayah Wallace of Elba, AL, a loving mother and father Vernetter and Alfred Puris of Elba, AL; Dad Robert Mitchell of Goshen AL;  grandmother Emma Williamson of Elba, AL; three sisters: Connie “Lisa” Pruitt of Hueytown, AZ, Shyeshia (Raheem) Handy of Damas TX, Whykeia (Daryl Stough of Birmingham, AL 5 brothers: Tremayne Puris of Elba, AL Robert Michtell of Elba, AL, Robert M Mitchell of Nashville, TN. Stanley Johnson of Pensacola, FL. Kevin (Pamela) Mitchell of Grady, AL, Roderick (Quenita) Mitchell of Montgomery, AL . A special friend Richard Jackson, a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
