Royal Dickson

Deacon Royal “Roy” Dickson was born on October 14, 1938 in Clio, Alabama to the late Tom and Roxie. Dickson  Royal was joined into Holy Matrimony to Ossie Mae Terry on February 2, 1962. He joined the U.S. Army on October 11, 1962 and served until August 3, 1964. He became a Christian at an early age. He served as Worshipful Master of Saturn Lodge # 80 in Enterprise, AL. He was actively serving as Superintendent and Treasurer for many years until his health failed. He had a passion for  fixing small engines like lawn mowers and weed eaters. He retired from Sessions Peanut Company after 35 years and 8 days. He is proceeded in death by his son; Baby Dickson.He leaves to cherish his memories; Wife Ossie Mae Terry-Dickson, children: Anita Lynn Harris (Terry) Enterprise, AL, Amelia Celeste Davis (Burtrion) Tuscaloosa, AL, Michael Beard, Enterprise, AL; siblings: Lille Ruth Beard, Enterprise, AL; brother in laws: J. D. Terry, Daleville, AL, Richard terry (Val) Daleville, AL; sister in laws: Lois Rowe, Harperswood, MI, Mary P. Terry Daleville, AL, Polly Magwood, Newton, AL, Janie Terry, Grandchildren: Kameron A. Sanders, Emanuel L. Butts, Earl H. Mack III, Tylan D. Davis, Kiara A.L. Sanders, Alivia S. Butts; Special friends: Clifford Dozier, Robert Council, Jim Henderson and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
