Rodney Junior Stoudemire was born February 15, 1966 to the late Jessie Robinson of Elba, AL and the late JoAnne Stoudemire of Elba, AL. At a young age Rodney joined Bethel A.M.E Church in Elba where he attended until residency change. After graduation, in 1984 he attended Coffee County Training Center in Enterprise, AL. He resided in the city of Elba prior to subsequently moving to Enterprise residing at Volunteers of America.
Rodney was known in the city as “Thriller”. He loved music and sports. Micheal Jackson and MC Hammer was his favorite artists. He managed to perfect the moon walk. The Elba Tigers was one of his top football teams, along with the Auburn Tigers.
He proceeds in death by his parents the late Jessie Robinson and the late JoAnne Stoudemire.
He leaves to treasure two loving sisters: Dollie McCall, Montgomery, AL and children; Two nephews: Jan Nerrius Rashadd Davis, Montgomery, AL, O’marion Oneal Stoudemire, Frankfurt, KY, and niece Qua’Neisha O’riole McCall (NeNe), Montgomery, AL. A younger sister, Jess Mount (MsKiki), Enterprise, AL and children; One younger brother, Jessie Thighpen and family, Enterprise, AL; One nephew, JT Austin, Opp, AL and one niece DeLaceyah Mount, Cartersville, GA.
