Ray Wheeler Obituary

Ray Don Wheeler was born to the late Calvin Ben and Ina (Wilcoxon) Wheeler of Pike County, Alabama on January 8, 1956. Ray was the fourth of seven children born to this union. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, sister Debra J. and brother Calvin L. Wheeler. Ray was a dedicated and faithful member of the Church of God by Faith of New Brockton, Alabama where he served on the deacon and Five Man Boards. Ray worked tirelessly and effortlessly for his church. He maintained the grounds as well as assisted in the upkeep and maintenance of the church’s structure. He never complained and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Ray was employed at the Enterprise Grocery Outlet as a butcher and was adored by all he that were blessed to know him. To know Ray was to love him and he truly loved his family! He laughed often and was indeed a clown and a mommas boy. He was a die hard fan of the MIGHTY ROLL TIDE!! He enjoyed his horses and spending  time outdoors.  He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Mrs. Laura L. Wheeler of Enterprise, Alabama. Three sons Ray Leverette, Johnny A. Randolph and Christopher Randolph all of Alabama. Three daughters Julia Ross, Patricia Ross and Pamela Randolph Clark all of Florida. Two sisters Vernita Wheeler and Anease (James) Coleman both of Alabama. Three sister-in- laws Coledia Simmons of Alabama, Wanda Johnson and Christina (Horace) Pender of Florida. Two brothers James (Shirley) Wheeler of Michigan and Fredrick Wheeler of Alabama. Two brother-in-laws, Terry and Vincent Randolph both of Florida, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
