Merita Mae Rowe was born March 23, 1929. She was preceded death by her parents Henry and Willie Mae Davis, her husband Joe L. Rowe, two step children: Jorotha Rowe Hogan, Jimmy Rowe, and Earthine Rowe, two great grandchildren Jabari Cole and Marquenda Thigpen

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving, devoted son Henry Louis Rowe (Margaret). Grandchildren: James Hogan Jr. (Cassandra) Yolanda Fowler, Clarissa McElroy (Darren) Alicia Rowe, Tonya Wiley, Kevin Thigpen (Tiffany), Tamara Hammonds, Vincent Thigpen, Derrick Thigpen, 15 great grandchildren and a host of great, great grandchildren.
