Mary Robinson

Mary Louise Johnson-Robinson was born on December 12, 1952, to the late Namon Currington and Louise F. Williams-Johnson in Enterprise, AL. She was the fourth of seven children. 
On November 16, 1976, she joined John Leslie Robinson in holy matrimony. They were married for 45 years in Enterprise, AL. Together they raised their only child, LaChrista Montrece Johnson, three grandchildren, Ashley Montrece Johnson, Kristina Louise Johnson, Anthony Tradell Johnson, and one very loved great-granddaughter, Aniyah Gabrielle Johnson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary loved cooking and was well known for baking cakes but even better known for her collard greens. She treated grocery shopping as if it were a competitive sport, there wasn’t a deal she couldn’t find. She was also an active member of St. Beulah Baptist Church and later joined Pleasant Shade Baptist Church until her health started to decline. The Lord called her home on August 21, 2021, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She is preceded in death by three loving brothers, James Johnson, Lee Johnson, and Grover Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband; John L. Robinson, two brothers; Harvey Williams and Johnny (Carolyn) Johnson, a sister; Alice F. Tillery, a daughter; LaChrista Montrece Johnson, three grandchildren; Ashley Montrece Johnson, Kristina Louise Johnson and Anthony Tradell Johnson, a great granddaughter; Aniyah Gabrielle Johnson, special nieces and nephews; LaKresha (Brandon) N. Siler - Enterprise, AL, Kerry (Pam) Williams - Enterprise, AL. She had a host of other nieces, nephews and a lifelong, very special, best friend forever, Debbie (Clemmie) Wilson – Enterprise, AL.
