Louise Davis Lindsey was born on November 15, 1932 to the late Louie Davis and Polly B. Davis. She departed this life July 7, 2020. Children and grandchildren were able to have a visitation just before mother departed. All she wanted before she left was to see her children and grandchildren. She talked with us, sung with us, prayed with us and then she was gone. She had four sisters to precede her in death; Jessie Mae Robinson, (Columbus, Ga), Willie B. Daniel (Chicago, IL), Tildie (Davis Chicago, IL) and Elthel B. Tyson (Opp, AL). Two brothers preceded her in death; Herman Davis (Chicago, IL) and Clinton Davis (Chicago, IL). Louise gave her life to Christ and joined the Apostolic Church Of Jesus Christ were she remained faithful. She loved praising God and singing praises. Whenever we was sick, we made it to mother or grandmother, and once she prayed we knew everything would be alright. She leaves to cherish her memory: Three daughters; Nettie (Johnny) Lacey, Lacie (Nathan) Stoudemire of Opp, AL. Polly Stoudemire, Brewton, AL. One son; Aaron Lindsey, Mobile, Al. One step-son Willie Mack Lindsey, Opp, Al. One step-daughter; Mary (Ray) Coleman, Elba, Al. Twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great grandchild. A host special nieces, nephews and cousins.
