“A time to be born…Ecclesiastes 3:2
Lewis “Buzzy” Idleburg was the fifth child born to Dora Byrd and the late Lewis Idleburg, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father and his bonus mom, Patricia Idleburg, He was also preceded in death by his significant other, Angelic Armstrong.
“Train up a child in the way he should go…”
Lewis “Buzzy” was a member of the Straughn High School “Class Of 1996.” He joined New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He branched off to serve the Lord in different locations.
“…present your body as a living sacrifice.”
Lewis “Buzzy” was a “Jack of all trades”. He loved fishing and hunting. Oh yea, we can’t forget about his dogs and chickens….you better not bother them. Lol! Also too, he had a “heart of giving”. He made sure the elderly got first…then he would just give to the rest of the community (fish, eggs, deer sausage, etc.) first come first serve.
“…all are of dust and all turn to dust again.”
On March 14, 2020, he entered eternal rest at Andalusia Regional Hospital. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the spirit that they may rest from their labor and their works do follow them” Revelation 14:13.
“Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted”
