Leeardis Macklin III Obituary

Leeardis Macklin, age 45, passed away in October 2025, in Enterprise, Alabama. Born on November 6, 1979, in Miami, Florida, Lee lived a vibrant and impactful life that touched many across the places he called home.
Lee’s early years were spent between Florida and Michigan. He began his education at Floral Heights Elementary in Miami before attending Manley Elementary in Flint, Michigan. He later returned to Miami where he continued his studies at Charles R. Drew Middle School and graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School. Driven by a passion for culinary arts, Lee earned his certification from Miami Job Corps and furthered his education at Florida Memorial College where he also joined the Fraternal Brotherhood of IOTA PHI Theta Zeta Zeta Chapter.
A proud Army veteran, Lee served his country with honor before transitioning into civilian life where he built a career marked by dedication and hard work. He held positions at Wayne’s Farm Meat Processing, Pilgrims Pride, and Walmart Distribution Center—roles through which he supported himself and his daughter Lianna with unwavering commitment.
Known affectionately as “Mack Gutta,” “Miami,” and “Teddy Bear,” Lee was a man whose presence was impossible to ignore. His dapper style and commanding stature made him stand out in any crowd—but it was his warm heart and magnetic personality that truly left a lasting impression. Whether you met him once or knew him for years, Lee had a way of making you feel like family.
He was deeply proud of his Miami roots and carried the spirit of his hometown wherever he went. A passionate sports fan, Lee never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Miami Heat or the Dolphins. He also found joy in classic films—often binge-watching favorites.  He took great pride in restoring  his vintage cars.
Above all else, Lee cherished his role as a father. His daughter Lianna Green was the love of his life—their bond unbreakable and their connection profound. To see them together was to witness pure joy; they were inseparable companions whose love knew no bounds.
Lee also shared a special connection with Angel Frazier, whom he considered the light of his life, as he called her "His missing puzzle piece."
He is lovingly remembered by his father Gregory Davis (Shewona); brothers Robert Huttoe, Gregory Jr., Jonquavius, Donte, and Donavan Davis; sisters Shakira, Tatiana, Donyale, and Jasmine Davis; sister/cousins Saffiyah Henderson, Latoya Mayo, Retiva Mayo, Krystal Mayo, Chiquita Hatcher, and Tatia Wright; aunts Rena Henderson and Audrey (Stanley) Wright; Sheryl Thomas; uncles John David Hatcher; Carlton West III; Joe (Bettye) Manigo; cousins Lisa Butler, Derek Butler, Earle Henderson, Vermillion Dailey, Rena A.
