Lady Byrd was born on November 23, 1936, to Lemon and Nancy Rodgers. She spent many years as a CNA at the Opp Health and Rehabilitation until she retired.She was a long-time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she accepted Christ as her personal Savior.On October 31, 2022, Lady Byrd Rodgers received her call to come home to rest with her heavenly father.Lady Byrd was preceded in death by her only daughter Tammy Rodgers; Sisters Mattie Rodgers and Estella Lawrence. Brother Joseph Rodgers. Those left to cherish her memories includes: Granddaughter Tawanna Rodgers of Columbus, GA; two great-grandsons Taylor Rodgers and Tristan Johnson of Columbus, Ga; one great-granddaughter Triniti Johnson of Columbus, GA; Sisters- Shelma Knox (Wilford)Peggy Craig (Tony*). Brothers-Moses Rodgers(Lucy*) J.C. Rodgers(Juanita), Adam Rodgers. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
