Kenneth Stewart Obituary

Kenneth Edward Stewart
July 16, 1955 – June 18, 2026

With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life and legacy of Kenneth Edward Stewart, affectionately known as Ken or Kenny by his family and friends. He passed away peacefully at his home in Pinson, Alabama, on June 18, 2026.

Ken was born in Bay County, Florida, to the late Marion Franklin Stewart and Nina Louise Pittmon Stewart, who raised him in a loving home. He graduated from Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida.

Ken dedicated much of his career to Bell Aerospace (Textron) in Panama City, where he worked for nearly 25 years. He later worked for Steelcon in Mobile, Alabama, and completed his career with Mygrant Glass in Birmingham, Alabama. A gifted problem solver with a natural ability to lead and manage others, Ken earned the respect of his colleagues and developed many lasting friendships throughout his working years.

Throughout his life, Ken loved fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors with his friends, cousins, and his father—who was also his best friend. He enjoyed sharing stories of those adventures and the memories he made along the way.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Donna Little Stewart; his sister, Sharon Disotel; his niece, Shannon Stewart; his son-in-law, Eric Reese; his granddaughter, Madison Reese; and his stepdaughters, Audra Tice (Matthew) and Madeline Little.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Franklin Stewart and Nina Louise Pittmon Stewart; his brother, Barnard Stewart; his daughters, Carmen Reese and Natalie Stewart; and his brother-in-law, Eddy Disotel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Springs Free Will Baptist Church, located at 3767 East Cook Road, Pansey, Alabama 36370.

Ken will be remembered for his patience, kindness and loyalty. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  "In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a Charity of your choice in honor of Kenneth Edward Stewart.
