Kavonta Jones was born on December 10, 1909, n Enterprise, Nabama, to Wateshia Jones and Michael Jones. He departed this life on December 20, 2025, at the age of 26
Kavonta grew up in Enterprise, Alabama, and was a proud graduate of the Enterprise High School Class of 2018. Following graduation, he answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Army, where he served faithfully for five years. Upon his return to civilian life, he worked at Sessions Peanut Mill alongside his mother.
Kavonta was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.
He was known for his warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering love for those around him. He was the family's "go-to IT guy," always willing to solve computer problems with patience and skill. His presence brought light and joy to every room, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Lee Robertson; his uncle, Andell McMath; and his aunt, Gretchen Carstarphen.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Wateshia Jones, and father, Michael Jones; two bonus dads, Chris McKenzie and Tarell McMath; four brothers, Dorion, Semondre, Tarell, and Billy; and two sisters, Promise and Myeisha. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Debra Jones, Alice Moore (Nick), and Evie Jones; his grandfathers, O.B. Teague and Aleis Broomfield; his uncles, Alfred, Isaih, Malachi, Albert, and Adrian; and his aunts, Tamekia, Lashonda, Lasanta, Dwan, Mayrene, SuAnn, Renoda, and Jackie. His legacy lives on through his nieces, Kailani' and London; his nephews, Kayleon, Vahalyn, and Octavious; and a special friend, Tre Robinson.
Kavonta's life was a gift to all who knew him. Though his time on earth was brief, his impact will remain everlasting.
