Judy Hill Obituary

Judy Ann Bailey- Hill was born on May 21, 1959 in Rochester, NY to the late Bishop Allmon and Sister Audrey Bailey.
Sister Judy attended elementary school #37 in Buffalo NY.  Sometime later the family relocated to Rochester NY where Elder Bailey was put in charge by Bishop Thomas at The Church of Jesus Christ. With most of the Helena Street children she attended and graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School also Monroe Community College.
Sis Judy was baptized in Jesus Christ and filled with the Precious Gift of the Holy Ghost in 1969 under the Pastorship of her father and Pastor Bishop Allmon Bailey. Soon after she became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Young Adult Choir where she often led songs. While a member at C.O.J.C. of Rochester she was a supervisor of the Sanctified Single Sisters, she was a faithful member of the Missionary Dept.
Sister Judy was United in Holy Matrimony on October 12, 2002 to Elder J L Hill of Elba Alabama moving immediately to Elba with her new husband under the new Leadership of Bishop E H Hill of Elba Al.  Sister Judy didn’t have any children but often called the farm animals her children. Elder J L & Sister Judy were a great couple Sis Judy did all the talking for them while Elder just nodded and smiled. If you were ever blessed to have a conversation with her be prepared for a long one, she had a lot to say and a lot of questions too especially in bible study. And always before hanging up she would always say “I LOVE YOU MORE! AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.”
Sister Judy heard the voice of the Lord calling; departed this life on January 30, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
