If you knew Joshua Kutrayl Diggs Sr., you already know one thing life was never boring when he was around. Born on October 7, 1984, Joshua lived 41 unforgettable years filled with laughter, music, and good times. He was the life of every party, the one with the best jokes, the biggest smile, and the loudest laugh. Joshua didn’t just walk into a room — he owned it.
Joshua was the heartbeat of every gathering. He loved hard, laughed loud, and lived life to the fullest. To know him was to have a story and if you were lucky, a funny one. He made sure no one ever left his presence without a smile.
He’s now reunited with his loving mother, Versia Janita Davis; his father, Noris Neal Diggs; his maternal grandparents, James and Doshia Simmons; his paternal grandparents, Joshua and Mae Eloise Satchell; and his beloved son, Joshua Kutrayl Diggs Jr. and we know that reunion is one full of laughter.
Joshua was a proud father, and his greatest joy was his children Jazmyn Diggs, Kaniya Diggs, Tayvierre Moore, J’Nhyla Diggs, Jhiana Diggs, Nigel Hill, and I’khyleigh Buckley, TyQuevion McEachin, Korey Thomas Jr. Everything he did, he did with them in mind. They were his pride, his motivation, and his heart. Joshua leaves behind his sisters, Kuterah Edwards and Nia Diggs his aunts and uncles Darlene Satchell, Stephanie Oliver, Herbert Diggs, Micheal Diggs, Larry and Angela Simmons, and Jerry Simmons a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will truly be missed.
