Joseph Truitt entered heaven on April 14, 2024, as this was the end of his earthly journey. Joseph was born on May 30, 1960, in Coffee County, Alabama. Most lovely referred to as Joe or Uncle Joe was a lifelong resident of New Brockton, Alabama, where he loved to hunt, fish, and gardening. Joseph had a long career in the agricultural and farming industry, which he continued to enjoy after he retired from Session Peanut Company after 20 plus years. Joseph took tremendous pride in all his passions from farming, woodworking, and welding.
Joseph is preceded in death by his beloved parents Robert and Bernice Truitt both of New Brockton, Alabama. He is preceded in death by three brothers John Truitt, Jimmy Truitt, and Arthur Lee Truitt and one sister Mary Ann Truitt.
Joseph is survived by two sisters Peggy T. Green (Hawatha) and Helen Snow of New Brockton and one brother Paul Truitt (Ella) of Daleville, Alabama. Two sisters-in-law Barbara Ann Truitt of Shilo, Alabama and Betty Sue Truitt of New Brockton, Alabama. He also leaves behind special and cherished loved ones and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great niece and nephews who will always cherish his loving memory and great life lessons taught.
