Johnny Mack Brown went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2020. He was born on June 5, 1950 in Elba, Alabama to the late Cleveland and Vera Mae Brown. Johnny was a man who never met a stranger. He truly had a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends. He was not only a great friend, but a wonderful and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed being with family and watching his grandsons play sports. Johnny spent most of his life working at Dorsey Trailers and helping maintain the family farm. He loved to hunt and tend to his livestock. Johnny is proceeded in death by his brother Ray Brown, sister-in-law Brenda Brown, brother Clarence Brown, sister Dorothy White, brother-in-law Joe White, granddaughter Makayla Wilson and nephew Patrick Brooks.
Johnny is survived by his wife Darlene Brown of 43 years, his son John Marcus (Monica) Brown of Elba, AL., his daughter Connie (Jarvis) Wilson of Pensacola, FL., his sisters Willie Mearle Golden of Waterloo, New York, Emma (Richard) Clark of Columbus, Ohio and brother, David (Joan) Rowe of Corning, New York, his brothers-in-law Donnie and Johnny Tillis of Elba, AL., Larry Tillis of Brantley, AL and sisters-in-law Dorothy Tillis of Brantley, AL and Christine Tillis, his loving grandchildren Jahari Brown, Jamarcus Brown, Jaiden Wilson, Monique Trice, Dominique Trice, Donique Muhammad and Ebonee (Tevin) McNair. He was loved and will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
