John I. Folmar

Mr. John Ira “Fox” Folmar was born December 21, 1954 to the late John Ezra Folmar and Mary Helen Parker Folmar in Covington County. 
John accepted Christ at an early age. He joined the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until his death. He departed this life on  October 14, 2021 in Elba, AL  John graduated Elba High School in 1972. John enjoyed family and raising cows, going to drag racing, and his Auburn and Elba Tigers. John worked 28 years as an Airplane Mechanic at Pemco World Air Services in Dothan, AL, he was currently employed with DSI Security Systems until his death. 
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving companion Jacqueline Whitfield Thomas Elba, AL; stepson: Minister Timothy Caldwell Enterprise, AL, three grandsons: Kevonta Caldwell, Ra’jah Caldwell, Stephan Caldwell all of Enterprise, AL, one great grandson: Zaire Iman Caldwell Elba, AL; two sisters: Helen Sue Barnes Montezuma, GA and Vivian Mount of Denver, CO, two nieces, Melissa Ross (Marcus Sr. Ross) Warner Robins, GA, and LaTasha Mount Washington, DC, one great niece: McKensie Ross, two great nephews, Marcus Ross Jr. and Matthew Ross all of Warner Robins, GA; one aunt: Annie Wilson New York, New York; one uncle: Billy Bradley Andalusia, AL; grandson Rinceton Thomas Ft. Gaines, GA and a host of relatives and friends
