James Johnson

James (Jimmy) Johnson was born November 20, 1937 in Clio, Al. to the late Curlie and Janie Johnson. He departed this life January 8, 2019. 

A love story was written in 1959 when the union through Holy matrimony joined Jimmy and Margaret as husband and wife. Their unconditional union produced footsteps of nine loving children. He was preceded in death by his parents Curlie and Janie Johnson,  sons: Junior, Darren,  Willie, and siblings Oree Johnson, Joyce L. Wilder, Eugene Johnson, Lunnie C. Johnson, Jack Johnson, Ollie Mae Beaty, and Annie Merle Blackmon.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 59 years Margaret Newman Johnson of Enterprise, AL; three sons; Dennis Johnson of Enterprise, AL, Bobby Johnson of Montgomery, AL, Mark Johnson of Geneva, AL ; three daughters Jenny Johnson (Randolph Engram) of Geneva, AL, Samantha Johnson of Enterprise, AL and Jessica Johnson of Enterprise, AL; four brothers Jerry Maynor, Willie Maynor, Leroy Maynor of Newton, AL and Mackie Maynor of Dallas Texas; three sisters Jewel (Jack) Smith of Enterprise, AL, Nellie Johnson Ozark, AL, Vernell (Eugene) Johnson, and a host of  grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
