J.W. “Peter” Cole was born September 10, 1945 to the late Sam and Luther Mae Cole.
Peter worked tirelessly in Fort Rucker, Alabama for over 20 years and Pilgrims Pride for over 18 years until he retired.
He was well known for his smile and jokes and love for family. He loved fast cars, especially his black Nova and loved dressing up.
JW. “Peter” Cole was proceeded in death by his father, Sam Cole and mother Luther Mae Cole. three brothers: Frank Cole, Clarence Cole, and Jerry Haynes and one sister Johnny Pearl Cole; one son John Bass; one nephew Christopher Cole.
On June 20, 2026 12:50 AM his charge was fulfilled.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife: Artist Boyd Cole, children: Sharon (Byron) Washington, Calvin Pruitt, Lexi Blanks, Deven Cole, and Chris Boyd; grandchildren: Neal Pouncy, Kiara Blanks, Chyana Blanks, Kenya Johnson, Shanika Pruitt, Kay’ven Cole,; 14 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren,; three sisters: Margaret (Mack) Moon, Mary Deetion and Wilma Broomfield; three sisters in law: Deborah Graham, Sarah Cole and Mary Horne. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Special nephews: Clifford Cole, Steven Cole, Greg Cole, Anthony Deetion, and Theron Cole. Special nieces: Sabrina Simmons, Vassina Deetion, and Lasanta Moore.
