Henrietta Penny Thompson

Henrietta Thompson affectionally known by her family and friends as Penny. Penny was born December 26, 1962 at Dyess air Force Base Texas to the late Henry B. and Betty A. White.
At an early age she attended Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Daleville, AL until she joined Southside Church of Christ in Enterprise, AL. Penny attended Enterprise High School where she was the first black female commander for the Belle’s of the Blue Knight drill team. Then she attended Alabama A&M University. On July 20th  1984 she began a wonderful journey with Christopher L. Thompson joining in Holy Matrimony uniting in body and soul. In this union two handsome men were born  Christopher and Trey. Penny worked for Vistakon for over 30 years. On August 20, 2022 Penny was beaconed to walk amongst the angles. She departed this life at Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, FL. Penny leaves to cherish a loving husband Christopher L. Thompson two sons: Trey and Christopher B. Thompson (Savanna), two grandchildren Alex and Corey, mother Betty White; two sisters: Terri Fleming and Cheryl Engram; her beloved nieces and nephews, a special friend: Tren Lane. Penny loved her life she enjoyed being a daughter, mother, and grandmother.
