Helen Faye Isaac was born on February 2, 1960 in Coffee County to the late Victoria Caldwell and Willie C. Copes. She departed this life on March 27, 2020 at South East Health in Dothan, AL. Helen leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband of 42 years; Edward Isaac, Sr. her children; Antoine Smith and Tashara Pinet; step-son Edward Isaac, Jr and daughter in law Colette Smith, her five grandchildren; Antoinesha, Jai, Esperanza, Maliya and Naziyah. She also leaves to mourn her passing her siblings; Willie Jean of Detroit, MI, Gloria Smith of Fitzgerald, GA, Jean, Sara, Eva, Cora, Tina, Patty, all of Alabama, Billy Ray & Alan Lee of Syracuse, NY, Rofus, Clearance, Sam, Jaime, Josh, Timothy, Chris and Rickey all of Alabama, Along with a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Helen was affectionately referred to as Nannie.
She was a tremendous hostess that loved to cook and entertain others. Helen had the extraordinary gift to see past racial and economical barriers; all were welcome in her home and received her care and no-nonsense love. Helen’s heart was for others, but especially for our Lord Jesus Christ and children. She will forever be loved respected and missed by many.
