Gwendlyn Carter

Gwendolyn T. Carter was born in Brewton, Alabama to the late Gloria Jean Carter and Larry English (Brick) of Atmore, Alabama. In her early years she professed her faith in Jesus Christ where she joined First Saint Salom Baptist Church in Brewton Alabama. She moved to Enterprise Alabama in 1985 where she graduated from Enterprise High School in 1988 and in 2004, she was ordained as minister. 
Gwen was a very intelligent young woman who loves the Lord with all her heart!!! She loved to do woodwork and build furniture for her home and sewing. Her favorite music was R&B, Jazz and Gospel. 
She quietly departed this life Wednesday July 2, 2025, at Southeast Medical Center hospital in Dothan, Alabama. She preceded in death by her mother Gloria Carter, grandmother Rachel Showers and brother Derek Craft. 
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her two daughters Latofia Cherelle (Dedric) Hobson of Elba, AL and Bria Marshay Culver of Enterprise AL., her father Larry(Edwina) English Atmore, AL and two grandchildren Aubriana Culver Elba, AL and Payton Edwards Enterprise, AL. 3 / 14 Sisters Gwen(Timothy) Williams, Ellenwood, GA, Barbara (Gerry) Jones, Daleville, AL, Robbin(Joseph), Pensacola, FL, Winifred Range, Atlanta, GA, Shavonya English, Walnut Hill, FL, Yumernixe Hayes, Mobile, AL, Eliza Pace, Atmore, AL,
