Glenda Turner Holloway was born on November 28, 1946, to the union of Eddie Bell Turner and Pearlie Terry-Turner in Opp, AL. On December 11, 2024, she answered God’s call to join Him in eternal peace. Glenda lived a life full of love, faith in God’s divine will, and service to others.
On September 30, 1972, Glenda wed in holy matrimony Willie Lee Holloway, and they built a loving home for their six children in Enterprise, AL. Glenda poured unwavering love and devotion into her children, instilling in them the values that have led to productive lives. Glenda’s active presence in the community enriched the lives of many, and her contributions will leave a lasting legacy for all who knew and loved her.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willie Lee, and her siblings: Louis Tillis; Delacey Tillis-Diggs; Annie Pearl (Petsy) Pruitt; Ridgeway Turner; Birdie Love Owens; Willie Bell Turner; Sherrie Foster; Ozellar Head; Beatrice Caldwell; Mary Delois Brown Fench.
She leaves to cherish her memories her six children: Jeniffa Turner of Enterprise, AL, Dedie (Ray) Burge of Kennesaw, GA, James (Sheryl) Turner of Sanford, NC, Samantha Holloway (Richard) Bryant of Upatoi, GA, Michael (Sonya) Holloway of New Brockton, AL, and Connie White (GA); nine grandchildren: Tessie Turner (Victor) Helton, Michael Holloway, Derevik McFerrin, DeQuan White, Taya White (Reginald) Langley, Jordan Burge, Jayla Bryant, Alexis Page, and Corey Holloway; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Grace Holloway, Annie Cile Holloway, and Mary Jean Moore; two brothers-in-law: James (Patricia) Holloway and Louis Frank (Kirsten) Holloway; and a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
