George Lindsey

George Jr. Lindsey was born June 13, 1961 to Louise Lindsey and the late George Lindsey. George departed this life on March 04, 2020. No one knew George was going to leave us on that day. In a moment his was gone, no goodbyes. George was preceded in death by his father, George Lindsey, one brother, John Lindsey and one sister, Mary N. Shivers.
George was a graduate of Opp High School. For the most part, he was a home body person. He often visited the Marshall family and they became his family. He enjoyed listening to his radio and  would always get excited when it was time to go shopping. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Louise Lindsey of Opp, Al. Two brothers; Willie M. Lindsey, Opp, Al., Aaron Lindsey, Mobile, Al. Four sisters; Mary A. (Ray) Coleman, Elba, Al., Nettie (Johnny) Lacey, Lacie (Nathan) Stoudemire, Opp, Al., Polly Stoudemire, Brewton, Al. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
