She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved grandchildren: Dominique Robinson, Tiara
Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Kiara Robinson, Latamaria McKenzie, Latara Raybon, Lamar
Raybon, Shianne Raybon, Kori Raybon, Latyana Raybon, Israel Raybon, Melvin Mathews, and
D’Covan Mathews; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and
dear friends.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: Elizabeth Raybon, Robbie (Roland) Crenshaw, and Cindy

Faye was a faithful and dedicated member of Light of the World Ministries, where she served
wholeheartedly for many years. She was one of the first members of the ministry, present from
its very beginning, and remained a steadfast pillar of support throughout its growth. Her local
service included many years as an usher, where she welcomed God’s people with warmth and
grace. She also faithfully served as a Sunshine Band Teacher, Usher Board President, and
President of the Ministers’ and Deacons’ Wives Circle. She was also Chaplain for the Local
Women’s Department, offering prayer, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. She was also
known as a devoted prayer warrior for Light of the World, faithfully covering the ministry in
prayer.
Beyond the local church, Faye served faithfully at the jurisdictional level as Vice President of
the 49 and Under Unit and Young Women Christian Council, where she demonstrated
leadership, dedication, and a heart for mentoring and empowering young women in ministry.
In her professional life, Faye worked as a home care provider for 18 wonderful years. She then
moved on to work diligently for Café Delight and Little Lites for many years, where she was
known for her strong work ethic and dependability.
Faye Ellen Raybon will be remembered as a faithful servant, a woman of strength and
compassion, and a true pillar in her church and community. Her legacy of love, service, and
