Sanflay McLeod was born on February 22, 1977, in Enterprise, Alabama to the late Billy Pruitt and late Nellie Mae McLeod. She departed this earth on December 3, 2022, in Enterprise, Alabama.Faye is preceded in death by her grandparents Susie McLeod, Limmie McLeod, Samuel Pruitt, Annie Pruitt; her brother Kenneth Kilow, five uncles Wallace Pruitt, Wilbur Pruitt, Collins Pruitt, Wilson McLeod, William McLeod; two aunts Betty Patterson and Annie Deloise McLeod; four cousins Jennifer Jackson, Grethchen Carstarphen, Shi’Quan Pouncey, Khamani Sanders. Faye is survived by her life partner Kelly McCloud; her siblings Selina McLeod (Larry Tyrues), LeVaughn McLeod (Jaywana Simmons), Ashley McLeod (Willie Wilkerson II); her children Dinazhia (Rodrick) Hayes, Dajah (Demetriyunte) Smith, Al’tazcia McLeod, Shuntazcia Dennard; her grandchildren Zaylin Hayes, Akili Smith, Jayceion Smith, Zane Hayes. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends .At an early age Faye joined First United Pentecostal Church and later became a member of Morning Star Church. She lived in Enterprise, Alabama her entire life. Faye had a huge heart and a smile that could light up the room. She was an extremely hard worker and held two to three jobs most of the time. Faye devoted her life to caring for her children and grand children; she always provided them with everything they needed. Faye was extremely passionate about cooking; and would feed and clothed anybody. She never met a stranger, everyone she encountered she somehow made them feel like family. Faye was very outspoken; she didn’t mind telling anybody how she felt. She loved spending quality time with family and friends. Faye dedicated her life to making her loved ones happy. To know Faye was to love her.
