Brother Emmitt Feagin Jr. was born in Covington County, Alabama, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt Feagin Sr. He joined First Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age. Later, he joined Church of God in Christ Opp, AL, and remained a member until he departed this earthly life on January 18, 2025.
Brother Emmitt Feagin worked for Henderson Sewing Machine Company as a machine assembler for over 10 years until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Emmitte and Zeola Feagin, four brothers Wayne Feagin, Joseph Feagin Sr., Curtis H. Feagin, William Feagin, and one sister Juanita Pryor.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Annie Louise Feagin; one daughter, Latoya Feagin-King of Smiths Station, AL; three grandchildren Breanna King of Eustis, FL, Trinity King of Laurel, MS, Caleb King of Smiths Station, AL, and one great grandson Brycen M. Bounds; two sisters, Rachel (Douglas) Sutton Sr. of Andalusia, AL, Eva (Jeffery) Stallworth of Springfield, FL; five brothers, Willie Feagin of Dallas, TX, Elder Devon (Ann) Feagin of Opp, AL, Winston Feagin, and Pastor Calvin (Stephanie) Feagin of Andalusia, AL, and Charles (Mary) Feagin of Enterprise, AL; one aunt Effie Mae Feagin of Los Angeles, CA; one sister-in-law, Brenda Feagin of Montgomery, AL. A special friend, Reverend James Ward, and other classmates of 1969, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The Feagin Family.
