Eddie Lee Stringer, aged 68, passed away on February 16, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. He was born on September 30, 1955, in Glenwood, Alabama.
Eddie dedicated 24 years of his life to a successful career at Floyd Construction. He was a hardworking individual who took pride in his work.
At an early age, Eddie joined Clay Hill Missionary Baptist Church to worship.
He loved cars and cherished spending time with his family.
Eddie will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife, Connie Lee Stringer of Dothan, AL; 2 sons, Gregory Stringer of Troy, AL, and Tyrone (Jennifer) Stringer of Minot, North Dakota; 3 daughters, Monica (William) Hines of Opp, AL, Nikki Stringer and Lillian Stringer, both of Dothan, AL; 4 sisters, Lena Siler, Ossie Burden, Missy (Bill) Sneed of Troy, AL, and Peggy Calvert of Brantley, AL; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; a special cousin, Joe Leverett; and a special niece, JoAnn Culver and host of family and friends.
Eddie Stringer was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Mae Stringer, father AV Stringer, and sisters Annie Lee Stringer, Fannie Lue McGhee, and Dorothy Mae McNabb and a brother AD Stringer
Eddie's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
