DiQuan “Mookie” LaKeith Holloway, 31, was born on November 20, 1993, in Enterprise, Alabama, to his loving mother, Angela LaVonne Holloway. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend. On June 14, 2025, Mookie departed this life and entered eternal rest.
Mookie accepted Christ at a young age and sought to live his life with faith, joy, and freedom in Him. His warm spirit and generous heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Mookie attended Enterprise High School and graduated with the Class of 2013. During his school years, he enjoyed playing basketball with the Enterprise Recreation League, where he formed lifelong friendships and memories.
Music was one of Mookie’s greatest passions. Known by the name BBF Mook, he was a talented rapper who used his music to express himself and share his life’s struggles and triumphs. His lyrics spoke of resilience, hope, and authenticity.
Mookie will be remembered for his playful nature, sharp wit, and unmatched sense of humor. He was one of the funniest people you could meet, always ready with a quick comeback or a joke to brighten your day. But beneath that humor was a deeply caring soul. Mookie loved openly and fiercely his affection was something you could feel. You never had to question it. He made sure everyone knew how much they meant to him. Protective of those he loved, Mookie was devoted to his family and friends.
Though he is no longer with us, Mookie’s kindness, wisdom, radiant smile, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and community.
