Diane T. Dozier

Diane was called home on Monday January 2, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 21, 1957 in Coffee County to the union of the late Lonnie and Ellon Dot Townsend. Diane was the oldest of four children of this blessed union. Diane accepted Christ at a young age and joined The Church of Jesus Christ. She was active in the church. Later in life, Diane married the late Pate Dozier.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Ellon Dot Townsend, her husband, Pate Dozier, and her son Michael I. Townsend. She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters and four sons: Angela Townsend Valdosta, GA; Lonnie Townsend (Sheliea) Enterprise; Dalqliesh Townsend-McGee (Ray) Enterprise; Ellon Dot Townsend-Johnson (Lamar) Enterprise; Marvin A. Townsend (Megan) Enterprise; Merlin C. Townsend (MaryRene) Mobile, AL; Stephanie D. Wilson (Paul) Tuscaloosa, AL; Patricia Dozier (Charles) Dothan, AL; Patrick Dozier (LaTasha) Enterprise; two sisters; Vickie Head (Freddie) Enterprise; MarKetha (Billy) Samson, AL; one brother, Michael Townsend (Gloria); 25 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
