Daniel Cullum

Daniel Dayle “Danny Dayle” Cullum Jr., 49 passed away on November 28, 2025, in Opp, Alabama. Born on August 25, 1976, in Avon Park, Florida, Daniel carried a quiet warmth that touched the lives of those around him.

A devoted father, Daniel’s heart beat strongest for his daughters, Cadence Alyvia Danyale Cullum and Hazel Madalyn Kae Cullum. They were his greatest joy—his guiding stars—and he treasured every moment spent by their side.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Linda Hall Cullum; his sisters, Jennifer Odom (Chris) and Amandie Gay (Paul); and his cherished nieces and nephews: Summer Cagle (Matthew) with children Liza and JT; Edward Howell (Ruby) with children Natalia and Malani; Lizzie Ochs (Trevor) with children Miles and Waylon; Emily Huckabaa; Heather Gay; Trever Gay; and James Blue.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Dayle Cullum Sr.; his sister, Terra Cullum Blue; and his brother, Michael Cullum.

Daniel found beauty in life’s simplest pleasures. Whether tending to a garden with gentle hands or casting a line into still waters on a quiet day, he embraced nature’s rhythm with reverence. Books offered him escape and wonder as an avid reader. He also found joy in collecting Batman memorabilia—a lifelong tribute to the caped crusader who inspired him from childhood.

His laughter echoed through family gatherings like sunlight through trees—bright, familiar, and warm. Though he has journeyed beyond this world, the love Daniel gave continues to bloom in the hearts of those who knew him.

May his memory be a lasting light for all who shared in his life.
