Cora Bell Carlisle Fuller Newton was the third eldest child of Charlie Carlisle, Jr. and Annie Lois Moody Carlisle. She moved to Enterprise, Alabama from Banks, Alabama when she was seven years old. She was a longtime member of Union Grove Baptist Church on Bellwood Road. She transitioned to her heavenly home on November 6, 2025.
Cora is preceded in death by her parents, an elder brother Charlie Carlisle and an elder sister, Mary Frances Carlisle Horace Johnson. Three younger brothers, Willie D. and James C. and Richard Carlisle. Four younger sisters, Lucinda Carlisle Owens Wilson Jeanell Carlisle Flowers, Vivian Carlisle and Gloria Carlisle Brown. A son Robert Cole, Jr, a daughter, Edna Cole Wilson, a stepson Gary Fuller and three grandsons, Shavell and Prentiss McCray and Drew Wilson.
Cora leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Juanita Bruce (Barry) of Enterprise, Alabama, and Margaret McCray Foster (Johnny) of Enterprise, Alabama. Three sons, Jimmie Cole (Kewa) of Prattville, Alabama, Willie Kilpatrick (Christine) of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Kelvin Fuller (Danyelle) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Two step-daughters, Carla Hilliard, Enterprise, Alabama, and Delmarshea Wilson (Larry), Manassas, Virginia, and one stepson, Sidney E. Fuller Jr, El Paso, Texas and a half-sister Patricia White Quicksey (Jimmy) of Hinesville, Georgia and a special son-in-law Colonel (Ret) Joe A. Wilson, 19 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Her special friends include Faye Morris, Douglas Green, Lisa Page, Donna Dunn, Charles Head, and Betty Lou McKenzie.
