Charlie Stickney, Sr. Obituary

Charlie Stickney Sr. was born on January 9,1941 in Phenix City, AL to the late Jeff Stickney and Willie Lee Stickney. On Saturday April 24, 2021, his heavenly father sent out his angels to take him to his eternal home. He was educated in the public school system of Phenix City, AL and attended South Girard High School, Russell County, AL. He did Construction work in several stats before settling in Enterprise, then later in Daleville, AL. Charlie lived life to the fullest every day,  impacting the people whom he encountered. Always there to help when needed where he could. The stories that were told from experiences to help you get on with your life.  Remember the laughs and memories you shared with him during your interacting.  The wisdom he gave and the strength he showed. At this time, he would tell each of us to live your life and enjoy! He was preceded in death by his wife Donella Stickney of 36 years, his parents Jeff and Willie Lee Stickney. two brothers: William Stickney Sr. and George Stickney; two sisters Emma Mae Washington and Alice Baker; one daughter: Delana Caldwell. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Charlie Stickney Jr., Timothy Lamar Stickney, and Matthew Johnson all from Columbus, GA; stepdaughter Natasha Hutchinson (Willie) Brundidge, AL; one brother: Fred Stickney (Jackie) of Winter Heaven, FL; three sisters: Annice Jasper, Sarah S. Anderson, and Rosa Lee Stickney all from Phenix City, AL; niece: Elnora McCory of Phenix, AL and Cheryl Gray of Daleville, AL; grandchildren: Angie (Broderick) Miller, Matthew Johnson Jr., Raphael Johnson, and DeMario Caldwell; great grand children: Quincy Mills, Tasha Miller, Tyra Miller, and Darren Miller. Sister-in-laws Mary Stickney and Theresa Stickney of Phenix City, AL; brother-in-laws: Rev. Joseph Hutchinson (Linda) of Daleville, AL; and Rev. Glennie C Hutchinson (Joann) of Enterprise, AL and a host of other nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends.
