Callie Daniels Obituary

Callie P. Daniels, born May 17, 1937, to the late Ella Mae “William “Moore and the late Joe Brown Moore. She was married to Willie Murphy (deceased), (Robert L. Lansey (deceased) and Louis W. Daniels (deceased).
Callie affectionately called “Puff” was a devoted mother who nurtured her seven children with an abundance of love, disciplined them with the word of God, and equipped them with knowledge and wisdom for life. Callie was a Queen to her children and they in turn respected, honored, and treated her as such.
Her smile would light up a room and her wit would leave you in tears of laughter. She always said what she meant but more importantly, meant what she said.  There is not a building in the City of Enterprise that would hold the number of people who loved and cherished her.
Callie was a soldier in the army of the Lord.  Her greatest joy besides caring for her seven children was working and serving in every church she called home.  To know her means you have had the distinct honor and privilege of meeting one of His angels that walked this earth. Never content with just being a church member, her heart’s desire was to serve the community and others. From singing in the “grand mama nem choir”, to the mission board, nurses gill, and Pastors aid ministry, just to name a few; this Queen was a true servant of the Lord.
Luke 12:2 (AMP) “But there is nothing concealed that it will not be revealed, nor so hidden that it will not be made known”. Luke 12:2 (Callie’s interpretation) “whatever you do in the dark, will come to light”. Words ingrained and instilled in all of her children.
On Monday, April 19th, 2021 at 7:34 pm the Lord called her home to eternal rest in His kingdom.  She leaves behind her loving companion Mr. James Broxton.
