Bunnie Gibson

Bunnie Mae J. Gibson was born February 18, 1951 in Enterprise Alabama to the late Willie Frank Percy Johnson and Annie Louis Johnson Britt.
Bunnie (BJ) joined the Pleasant Shade Baptist Church at a very young age.  She then took a vow and married her husband, her King, Alfred Gibson. They were joined together growing up as childhood friends from 1970 till 2022,  a blessed 61 years of genuine love, discipline and dedication. After marriage, she then joined his church, Friendship Baptist Church until the late 2000’s,  later going back home to her original church, Pleasant Shade Baptist to serve and be a solider for the Lord and her church family and friends until her transition on September 19, 2022.
Bunnie was very active in many Church Associations and loved to sing  in the Church Choir and fellowship with her Church Family when she could.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving husband: Alfred Gibson of Enterprise Alabama, a daughter: Latunya  Gibson of Enterprise AL, grandchildren she raised as her own, Bria Gibson Montgomery, AL, Alec Gibson Enterprise, AL, Lakyra Gibson Enterprise, AL, Nijeria Gibson Enterprise, AL, and her Great-grandson: Naszir Walters; one sister: Elizabeth Cox Dothan, AL and brother and sister in-law: Micheal and Audry Barnnett Knoxville, TN and a host of friends and family members. She is joined in death also with her oldest daughter: Latasha Gibson, her brothers: Willie Fred Johnson, Roy Lee Johnson, and Johnny Ray Johnson.
