Billy Rowe

BILLY ROWE was born in OPP, Alabama to Mary Lois on February 9, 1961. He was raised by his grandmother Evie Lee Rowe and grandfather L.C Rowe. 
Billy was extremely active and remained an athlete most of his young life. He played basketball and graduated high school at age 17. He served in the US Air Force before he went off to attend THE Alabama State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. He pledged Pi, Theta, Gamma (Spartans) and cherished his lifelong brotherhood with his frat greatly.(Whoooo Sayyy!) He was an Alabama fan and didn’t hesitate to yell his fill of “ROLL TIDE!”
Billy began his working career as a computer programmer in various sectors for the State of Alabama. He worked and retired in September 2013 after 28 dedicated years as a Computer Analyst. He married Flora Dixon on July 8, 1989, to this union were three children. They later divorced after sixteen years. Billy was always optimistic; he kept a positive attitude and could light up a dancefloor with his one-of-a kind moves! He loved music and making people laugh.
Billy leaves several sayings behind to hold onto: “catch out now”, “got to deal with it”, “absolutely correct”, “School or YOUR LIFE”, I’ll be (bock), “I have no fear”, “got to keep on keeping on”, “I lived my life, y’all have fun” Billy was preceded in death by his little brother Rodney Rowe, Grandmother Evie Lee Rowe and Grandfather L.C Rowe. And several other relatives and dear friends he’s lost and is reunited with. He leaves to cherish his funny and beautiful memories his three daughters and grandchildren: Tenera Rowe & KeJuan Rowe (Birmingham, AL),  JaQuita M. Rowe & Destiny Rowe (Montgomery AL) Shanna Rowe and Logan T. Rowe (Birmingham AL). His loving mother Mary Lois Harris(New Brockton, AL), His Aunts: Doris Bivins (Ozark), Christine Rowe(Montgomery) Betty Reed(New York),  Cousins: Sabrina R. Law and Michael Rowe (Montgomery), Gloria Law and Christopher (Chelsea), Felicia and Jada Jones (Dothan), Margie, Jill and Judy, Kaila, Kameren Brock, (All of New York), Rocky Jones (Enterprise) and Ronnie Jones (Kansas), Cory Reed and KJ (New York), Martez and Raheem Hornsby (Enterprise), and Jamari Jones (North Carolina), and a host of relatives and dear friends.
