Betty English Obituary

Ms. Betty J. (Stoudemire) English was born on November 19, 1955 to the late Douglas Sr. and Louise (Siler) Stodemire in Opp, AL. Betty was employed at Monzume Mental Health for 15 years until her health declined. ‘God saw Betty getting tired so he put his arms around her and whispered come with me”On May 15, 2020 Betty was called to glory at Select Specialty Hospital in Pensacola Florida.Betty was preceded in death by her loving parents Douglas Sr. and Louise (Siler) Stoudemire. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her spouse; Lonnie Hawthorne, Children; Jeffery D. (Chinde) Stoudemire, Letteron (Cassandra) Brannon, Willie George (Amy) English Lonnesha Campbell, Carla Carson, Cherice Carson-Smith, Corey Hawthorne, Christopher Hawthorne, Shantel Bradley, three brothers; Chuck Stoudemire, (Dudley) Douglass Stoudemire Jr, Calvin Hines of Opp, AL, twenty-one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, two uncles; A.Z. (Sara) Stoudemire and Willie Raymond. Five aunts; Evelyn Campbell, Annie Pearl Siler, Ella Mae Stoudemire, Muriel Lee Stoudemire and Mae Sue Williams. A host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends. A very devoted friend Gloria Jean Goldsmith. Her extend family the Carson. Our angel Betty was a loveable person. She was beautiful inside and out.
