Benjamin Franklin Daniels, the youngest of four children born to the late Edgar Daniels and late Rachel Jackson, entered the world on December 13, 1948 in Barbour County, AL. He attended school at Baptist Academy and was baptized at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Eufaula, AL. He resided in Elba, AL for over 40 years where he worked and eventually retired. On October 5, 2020, God chose to bring his son Ben home to be with him. He was preceded in death by his father Edgar, his mother Rachel, his sister Arlene Williams and his brother Willie Fred Daniels. He leaves to remember him; a loving wife of forty-one years, Rebecca Daniels, Elba, AL, his brother Otis C. Daniles, NY; his mother-in-law Lucille Hammonds; his brothers –in-law Lorenzo Hammonds, Terreall Hammonds, Randy Tyson, and Tory (Penny) Thomas; his sisters-in-law Lae Lucille Hammonds; his brothers-in-law Lorenzo Hammonds, Terrall Hammonds, Tandy Tyson, And Tory (Penny) Thomas; his sisters- in-law Dottie Hammonds, Linda (Thomas) Hooks, Sherry Jean Tyson, Annie (Johnny) Griffin and Tracie (Tim) Williams; his uncle-in-law Skeeter (Polly) Waters; and his aunts I law Shirley Ann Coleman, Emma Nell Hammonds, Louise (Vernon) Harris, and Mary Waters. In his heart were his nieces and nephews who were like his very own children; his “firstborn son” Bernard Waters, Eddie Jo, LeGary (Pam), Lakia (Clarence), Terry, Alice (Tim), Quitta (James), Eddie, Keith , James, Tony, Joseph, O’Shay, ShaRae, Cordell (Tiara), Justin, Cordeshia, Terricka, Amber, Keirra, Terreia, Shy, Trey, Tay, J’Shawn, Zybrian, Sharay, Tyree, and Jasmine, and his great nephews and nieces; Khaleb, Michael, Sanderious, Jeffrey, Cari, Legacy Jr. Jumere, Shamya, Timia, Clarence, Timora, Claren, Tyra, Paris, Natalie, Kentrell and Ashley. Also, special to him were his cousins Jackie, Willa Dean Virginia and his little ones Channon, Kyrian, Kerri, Paris, Calli, CJ, Kendrick, Bry’Aunna and A’Khari, special friends; MJ Caldwell and Bobby Ray Knight. Unlisted but not forgotten are a host of other family members, neighbors and friends.
