Born May 24,1954, to Annie G. McCall and Jesse E McCall Sr at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery Alabama. She traveled with her parents and siblings throughout her father’s military career. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, an honor student and member of the dance team. Over her life time she has held positions with AT&T in Montgomery, AL, AAFES in Ft. Rucker, AL and finally at Walmart Distribution Center, where she medically retired as a Quality Control Associate. She was an active member at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist church where she served on the Usher Board, and the kitchen mission, serving meals to bereaved families and at church functions.
Belinda is preceded in death by her brother Leonard J. McCall (1956), son Antony D. McCall (1971), Father (1996), Mother (2022), sister Anita Judkins (2012), and brother Lawrence C. McCall (2016).
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Walter Charles. She remains in the hearts of her children, Tesa (Cameron) Brown of Birmingham, AL; Jerome L. Edwards II of McDonough, GA; and James Vaughn of Pensacola, FL. She was blessed with her grandchildren, Kayla, Alton, Tameron, and Madison.
As the oldest daughter, her advice, great sense of humor and occasional chastising will be missed by her siblings, Jesse E McCall Jr. of Montgomery, AL; Felecia (Douglas ) Robinson of Stockbridge, GA; Juanita Woods of Montgomery AL; Cheryl Acree of Valdosta, GA;, Leonard (Jackie) McCall Sr of Pheonix City, Reba Wilson of Montgomery, AL: Theresa Agnew and Barbara (Selwyn) Lynn of Enterprise, AL.
She also leaves loving brother and sister-in-law’s to include Deborah McCall and Lamont Agnew. Paul, Larry, Ronnie, Tammy and Caroline of the Charles Family. Daughter-in-law Stacey Edwards, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
